Bistro A Vin

Food / Dining

Bistro A Vin is a little corner of Paris in Charleston. No, it literally is a corner and it is right next to Café Framboise. So it really is like a French little corner. Both are owned by a Dominique Chantepie and his wife Florence. This little slice of heaven is somewhere between the perfect hangout spot and a romantic date night straight out of some wonderful indie French film.

Fact… we probably go here too much.
My bank account would probably agree with me.

But actually, the price point is really affordable. Especially for Charleston.

Okay, so the selection of wine is fantastic. All imported from France and wine by the bottle is very affordable. The charcuterie board though is the best steal as it’s five items for $25 dollars. The charcuterie list has about twenty items, so the combinations are endless. Trust us, we know. Bonus points: they get their bread from a bakery in Brooklyn. Why is this so important? A lot of places in Charleston don’t understand the whole good bread thing.

Garlic Sausage, Prosciutto, Manchego, Goat, and I can’t remember the fifth item… but it was good.
